Flamingo Float AI Trend: What It Is and How to Make Yours

The flamingo float AI trend is a short vertical video that spread across Instagram and TikTok in early November 2026. Someone lies on a giant pink flamingo float in a rooftop infinity pool high above a city, looking at their phone, while the float drifts toward the edge. A hand reaches in from behind the camera and pushes the float back to safety.

You may also see it called the hey bro trend, the thank you bro trend, the infinity pool flamingo trend or the flamingo floatie trend. The names come from the best-known version, where someone off camera calls out "hey bro, bro, bro" and the person on the float answers "thank you".

Why it works

The joke is in the timing. The skyline is huge, the mood is calm, and the person on the float has no idea how close the edge is. The rescue is tiny and casual, which makes it funnier than any big drama. It also works as a personal joke: the best part is seeing someone you know on that float, not paying attention.

What happens in the video

1. You lounge on the flamingo with your phone while the float drifts toward the edge.
2. A hand comes in from behind the camera and pushes the float back.
3. The float glides away across the pool, with the city behind you.

Is it real or AI?

Videos made on this site are AI generated. We add no watermark to exported videos. Many people ask the same question about the clips in the trend, so we wrote a separate guide: is the flamingo float real or AI? Please do not try this on a real pool, and do not share your video as if it really happened.

How to make your own

You do not need to film anything or write a prompt.

1. Go to the video creator.
2. Upload one clear portrait of one adult. Use your own photo, or get permission from the person pictured.
3. Check the credit quote and confirm.
4. Follow your video in your history, then download the 12-second vertical MP4 with sound.

The face is small in this scene, so photo quality matters. Our photo guide covers what to upload.

What does it cost?

Video generation uses credits, and you see the exact quote before anything starts. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no subscription. See the pricing page for current packs.

Posting it

The vertical format fits TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Hashtags people use include #flamingofloat, #infinitypool, #heybro and #aitrend. Use the platform's AI content disclosure where required, describe the video accurately, and only post videos of people who agreed to be in them.
